Young Driver is a driving school for young people aged between 11-17. It offers lessons with a qualified ADI driving instructor.

I had a one hour driving lesson at the Bluewater venue. And Tim Bentley was my very patient instructor.
Tim first showed me a video on the iPad that gave a description the pedals in the car, then he talked about driving, and then it was time for me to drive!

I was a bit nervous, but Tim explained everything really well, and I soon got used to it.
As we set off, there were other young drivers on the specially made up track in the corner of one of the car parks in Bluewater.
I learnt how to use the pedals and gears properly, and of course how to stop!
My car for the lesson was a brand new ŠKODA, fitted with dual controls.
